Car mechanic

About the Role

We are currently hiring an experienced Car Mechanic to join Arbeitmatch for projects in Trondheim, Norway, with flexibility to work on assignments across the country.

This is a long-term opportunity under a permanent Norwegian employment contract (Bemanning), where you will be assigned to various projects depending on company needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles
• Identify mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
• Carry out inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety standards
• Use professional tools and diagnostic equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow Norwegian regulations and company procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a car mechanic
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Willingness to relocate within Norway depending on project assignment
• EU/EEA citizenship (mandatory)

Offer

• Salary: 250 NOK per hour
• Permanent Norwegian employment contract (Bemanning) with project-based assignments
• Accommodation available at 6000 NOK per month, deducted from salary

• Holiday pay: 10% of annual salary, paid in June the following year
